His experience spans strategy development, business transformation, acquisitions and scaling healthcare platforms, with a particular focus on creating models that empower clinicians whilst delivering sustainable organisational growth.

Mark has been instrumental in developing and leading partnership-based healthcare organisations, including clinician-led models that balance professional autonomy with the benefits of scale, shared expertise and long-term value creation. His leadership experience spans both established healthcare systems and high-growth environments, giving him a unique perspective on how organisations can grow whilst preserving culture, quality and independence.

Brian Southward is Managing Director of DeNovo Dental Partners and brings extensive leadership experience in building successful businesses in a private equity-backed environment.

With a strong background in scaling multi-site organisations, Brian has expertise including both fast paced buy and builds and fostering organic growth and value creation in organisations.  In particular, Brian has experience of operational integration, commercial strategy and organisational leadership within fragmented but fast-growing business environments.

 

At DeNovo, Brian works closely with Partner practices and the wider leadership team to support operational excellence and drive strategic growth initiatives. He has played a leading role in developing DeNovo's federated model, helping create a distinctive balance between practice autonomy and the benefits of being part of a larger group. Passionate about helping principals realise the full potential of what they have built, Brian continues to champion innovative approaches to ownership, succession and shareholder participation that create opportunities for both current and future Partners.

Caron Best is Chief Operating Officer of DeNovo Dental Partners, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the dental sector across operational leadership, commercial strategy, business transformation and practice support.

Caron has built her career helping businesses and teams achieve sustainable growth through strong operational foundations, collaborative leadership and a focus on quality, efficiency and people. With experience across both independent and corporate dental environments, she is recognised for her ability to lead change, improve performance and build high-performing teams whilst maintaining a strong focus on culture, service and long-term value.

She works closely with Partner practices to provide the expertise, infrastructure and support needed to unlock growth, whilst ensuring principals retain autonomy, participate in future success and benefit from long-term value creation.

Eddie Coyle is Group Dental Officer at DeNovo Dental Partners and a highly respected dental leader with more than 35 years of international experience across Europe and the USA. His expertise spans clinical governance, operational strategy, regulatory compliance, healthcare innovation, and commercial leadership. Eddie is recognised for combining extensive clinical knowledge with strategic business leadership to deliver high standards of patient care and organisational performance.

Eddie has played a significant role in the leadership and growth of dental businesses across the UK, ROI, Europe, and the USA. He has chaired a Global Medical Board, led major acquisition and integration projects, supported digital transformation initiatives, and driven the adoption of AI-supported diagnostics and advanced imaging technologies.

​

He has also led large-scale clinician education programmes, strengthened patient feedback systems, and supported supplier and procurement optimisation across international healthcare networks. An accomplished speaker and industry advisor, Eddie regularly contributes to healthcare and dental conferences across Europe and the United States.

Passionate about supporting clinicians and dental teams, Eddie works closely with DeNovo Partners and practices to promote clinical excellence, innovation, safe patient care and the sharing of best practices across the group, whilst ensuring DeNovo’s culture of autonomy remains central to the organisation.

Kristen Pope is Co-Founder and Chief Integration, Partnership & Communications Officer at DeNovo Dental Partners. She brings more than 20 years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, integration, communications and organisational transformation across healthcare and professional services environments.

Kristen has extensive expertise in partnership development, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and post-acquisition integration. Throughout her career, she has helped organisations navigate growth and change whilst maintaining strong cultures, clear communication and meaningful engagement across teams and stakeholders.

At DeNovo, Kristen leads integration, Partner engagement and communications strategy, helping ensure that practices joining the group feel connected, supported and empowered from day one. She has played a key role in shaping DeNovo's culture, engagement model and approach to partnership, creating opportunities for Partners to learn from one another, contribute to the future direction of the organisation and remain actively involved in its success.

Udi Wickrema is Chief Financial Officer of DeNovo Dental Partners. He is an experienced finance leader with significant expertise in fundraising, financial strategy, investment planning, corporate finance and scaling high-growth organisations.

Over the course of his career, Udi has worked across complex and fast-paced business environments, both as an advisor and an operator, supporting organisations through growth, acquisitions and operational expansion. His experience includes financial modelling, funding strategy, commercial analysis and building finance functions that support long-term value creation.

At DeNovo, Udi leads the organisation's financial strategy and works closely with the leadership team to ensure the group is built on strong financial foundations.
